Message from the President

As we set out on a new year with the Chamber, I have two questions to ask:

  1. What can the Chamber do for you? Please do not hesitate to contact me directly, any board member, or Maura, our office manager with any questions or concerns that you may have on how the Chamber can serve you.
  2. What can you do for the Chamber? You may find that you get the answer to #1 by getting involved with the Chamber as a committee member. We have formed four standing committees that could use help from outside the Board of Directors. Those committees are:
    1. Membership/Ambassador Committee: Goals are to visit new and "future" members of the Chamber to see what needs the Chamber can fulfill, and to recruit new members.
    2. Public Relations Committee: Responsibilities will be to promote the Chamber through press releases, web presence, other organizations, etc.
    3. Meeting Committee: Responsibilities will be to arrange for periodic membership meetings with guest speakers or other informative sessions, and to help organize business after hours.
    4. Events Committee: Responsibility will be to organize Chamber events, specifically the annual Business Expo. We are looking to expand upon this event quite significantly this year and could use whatever ideas or help you may have!

Please contact me or the Chamber office if any of those committees interest you.

Thank you in advance, and I look forward to working with you this coming year.
